Logotypes

At school for graphic design classes I have to make brand book for any company or organization I want to (it can be non existent, too). Fortunately I don’t have to make it very detailed. I must design company’s logo, business card and blank (plus envelope). Then I can choose something like CD, T-shirt, pen etc. It’s up to me.

The very first thing I have to start with is to determine company’s style and values. For example, financial institutions are much more conservative than tech firms. Of course, always there will be exceptions.

The second step is logotype. It’s the essence and basis of corporate identity and must personate company’s values and ideas. All the rest – blank, business card, web site and so on – will be derived form logo. 

I generate ideas at the moment and look for some good samples for inspiration. I’ve already posted inspiring and creative business card samples but – as I wrote before – it is second step and I have to start with logo. Here is what I’ve found so far:
